How secure is my data?
Our servers are maintained at secure facilities in Edinburgh & London. These facilities have controlled physical access including CCTV. All platform security patches and upgrades applied by our hosting team. The servers are protected by Cisco firewalling infrastructure with open ports limited to 22 (SSH) and 443 (HTTPS).
All data transmitted from the client to the server is done using HTTP over a Secure Socket Layer (SSL) connection. Our digital certificate is from a trusted Certificate Authority. This prevents data transmitted from client to server being intercepted and/or modified.
Who has access to my data?
Customer data is only available to users within the same organization that are identified by a valid username and password. ImpactAware support staff have access to the data for the purposes of administration of the software.
How do I access my data in an emergency?
The application is available from any internet connected PC that meets our minimum specification. If you loose your IT infrastructure, you will still be able to access your Business Continuity information
Is my data backed up?
Data backups are retained for a 6 month period and held on our secure hosting facility.
If I delete data is it retained?
The data is available from our backups. Please note that recovery of deleted data may incur an additional charge based on the package you buy.
