Why do I need to add a Process or Resource twice to my Activity model?

Inside the Structure tab of Activity you can build up a dependency structure for the named activity. Due to the multiple dependency nature of Activities, when compared to Organisations and Locations the user experience is slightly different.

When you add a process or resource to the structure tab it opens a dialog that lists all existing processes and resources. This is too allow you to select a pre existing item from this list and add it to the activity structure. If you wish to add a new process or resource you must add a new item to this list which opens up a dialog to help you define the nature of this item. Once you complete the process of creating the process or resource then you will return to the list where the new item is highlighted and you can select the add button to attach it to the dependency model.

This may feel like your adding the item to the structure twice but, this two phase process is required so that you can add pre-existing process or resources to your model. The first step creates a new resource or process and the second step adds it to the structure.
