Can Not Find JNLP File Within Internet Explorer Cache Under HTTPS

Symptom

When using Internet Explorer as you default browser, and attempting to install any of the ImpactAware application suite over HTTPS, an error message appears. This error message states that Java Webstart cannot find the JNLP file within the Internet Explorer cache.

Reason

This is a behaviour is because by default, Internet Explorer does not cache files received over an HTTPS connection.

Workaround

Open up Internet Explorer, go to Tools>>Internet Options>>Advanced and UN-check the box that says ‘Do not save encrypted pages to disk’.
