Creating a Site

The Dependency Model

A Site is a top level item. Within the Site Asset view you will see a tab called Structure. If you select structure you will be able to model relationships of the type represented above.

  1. To create a Site, select the Assets By Type page on the left hand tool bar.
  2. Select Site from the drop down list and hit the plus symbol.
  3. Populate the name and any other fields required.
  4. Hit the save button and the Site will appear in the Asset list
  5. Select the structure tab in the top right hand corner of the screen.
  6. Add buildings and areas using the appropriate add button, or edit the site properties.
  7. Once finished commit your work by clicking on the save button at the bottom of the workspace.
